Welcome to my roost in this nest! I'm Michael, the father of this Arnold Aerie. Light yourself down and take a moment or two to learn more about me and my family. I hope you like the football theme, it's my favorite sport. Can you guess my favorite team?!

My Faith

First and foremost, I am a Christian. Jesus Christ is my personal savior and I owe all that I have in this wonderful life to Him. He died on a cross to take my place and he did the same for us all. My History

I was born and raised here in Dayton and I've lived here all my life. I grew up on my grandfather's 82 acre family farm which we still live on and operate today. I'm all grown up now, with the most wonderful wife in the world and 3+ beautiful kids. Currently I'm a math and science teacher at Dayton City School, but I've worn many hats in my 30 years. I've lived the "Internet Dream" and travelled the country putting expensive gadgets here and there; I've flipped lots of pizza dough at several pizza places; and I've made baskets, and thrown hay, and chased cattle, and a lot of this, that, and the other thing. I'm thankful for it all, because God has used it to make me who I am today.

My Interests

Well where to start. I love football, especially UT football. My wife and I try to make it to a game a year, which can be hard with kids and expensive tickets. My friends and I always play fantasy football and have a blast with it. I was third this year, congrats Chris!

I also love computer games. My wife got me an X-Box for Father's Day - yeah I know, and she's a hottie too! Dungeon Siege, The Sims, X-Box games - you name it, I love playin 'em.

I've always been interested in history and I'm especially fond of the Civil War. We can learn so much from those who went before, and I love reading about the likes of Stonewall Jackson (hero material), Bobby Lee, etc.
